I was just thinking the same thing. It feels like kate has always been so talkative and smiley and adorable but then I think back that even a month ago she didn’t do half as much. It’s really crazy.

I’ve had the same thoughts! Sometimes I feel like Kaitlyn is making no progress and is so far behind. And compared to “typical” babies she definitely is behind. But when I think that a year ago, she really could not do ANYTHING and we had no idea what the next year would bring. She really has come so far, and so has Danny!

That is a good step Kel, a very good step. He might get it sooner than you think with a big brother like Eric. I’m glad you are seeing improvements, even the littlest ones are big for Danny and it makes me smile.

Too funny. But you know…. Gramma used to do that too, only I wasn’t in diapers, but training pants and apparently when I wet myself, I took off my gaunch and hung them on the nearest door knob or gate post and my sister was sent to fetch them. Which explains why she hates me. I would too. But I eventually stopped(really I did) and so will Danny. Take care and have fun. Love mom

Oh gosh, I think that the first day can be as hard on us parents as on the kids! Danny sounds like he will get so much out of school, at his pace, on his terms.
Good luck and remember to enjoy the ride! I spent so much time worrying I often forgot to enjoy the small successes enough.

Ahhhhhh Kel.I sit here in tears. The time is flying by, and the learning curve will be very hard for both of you. You are a smart lady… step away and let it all happen, enjoy your “my” time and try not to fret. Yes you heard me right. This is coming from the fretting queen herself.Like I told you before, don’t worry… I have it covered for everyone. But really, I know this is a big scary step for the both of you and there will be lots of going backwards before going forwards, it will be ok. I promise. I will be thinking of you each and everyday.
