Bears are in third grade or 9 years old. After completing the requirements of the Bobcat rank (either this or in a previous year), youth may go on to complete the requirements for the Bear rank and the many electives offered to this rank.<\/p>\n

Bear Requirements<\/h4>\n

  1. Complete each of the following Bear required adventures with your den or family:
    \na. Baloo the Builder
    \nb. Bear Claws
    \nc. Bear Necessities
    \nd. Fellowship and Duty to God
    \ne. Fur, Feathers, and Ferns
    \nf. Paws for Action (Duty to Country)<\/li>\n
  2. Complete at least\u00a0one<\/strong>\u00a0Bear elective adventure of your den or family\u2019s choosing.<\/li>\n
  3. With your parent or adult partner, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent\u2019s Guide, and earn the Cyber Chip award for your age.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
