Webelos

Webelos are in fourth grade or 10 years old. After completing the requirements of the Bobcat rank (either this or in a previous year), youth may go on to complete the requirements for the Webelos rank and the many electives offered to this rank. Pronounced “WE-buh-loes,” the Webelos name stands for “WE‘ll BE LOyal Scouts.”

Webelos Requirements

  1. Be an active member of your Webelos den for three months.
  2. Complete each of the following Webelos required adventures:
    a. Cast Iron Chef
    b. Duty to God and You
    c. First Responder
    d. Stronger, Faster, Higher
    e. Webelos Walkabout
  3. Complete at least one Webelos/AoL elective adventure of your den or family’s choosing.
  4. With your parent or adult partner, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide, and earn the Cyber Chip award for your age.

Webelos & Arrow of Light Electives

Electives for the Webelos and Arrow of Light ranks are a shared pool. Electives used to earn Webelos rank will not count toward Arrow of Light rank.
